TIRANA (Albania), March 26 (SeeNews) – Albania's state-owned power corporation KESH said on Monday it is inviting bids for exports of up to 216,000 MWh of electricity for April 1-30 delivery.
The bidding deadline is March 26 and the preferred criteria will be the highest price offered, KESH said in a request for proposals.
The electricity will be offered for delivery in one lot (00.00 – 24.00 hours CET, from Monday to Sunday), KESH added.
Albania produces 98% of its electricity at hydro power plants, most of it from three power plants along the Drin River, in the northern part of the country.
