Albania awards electricity production licence to local co UKKO

TIRANA (Albania), November 19 (SeeNews) – Albania’s energy regulator said it has awarded an electricity production licence to local company UKKO.

The licence allows the company to operate as producer of electricity from a 1.0 megawatt solar park for a 30-year period, the energy regulator said in a statement posted on its website.

The decision enters into force immediately.
