Aerowatt sales soar 57% Y/Y in H1 2011

Jul 26, 2011 - French renewable energy group Aerowatt (EPA:ALWAT) reported today revenue of EUR 9.3 million (USD 13.4m) for the first half of 2011, up 57% year-on-year.
The company said the 2010 sales figures that are used for comparison do not include revenue generated from two power plants sold in New Caledonia in May 2010.
The change in first-half revenue is in line with the overall trend anticipated for 2011, Aerowatt noted.
For the first time since its creation the group generated more than half of its sales, or 51%, in metropolitan France.
As at June 30, 2011, the company operated 25 wind turbines with a capacity of 106 MW and 28 solar sites, equal to some 16 MWp. Aerowatt develops a portfolio of projects representing cumulative capacity of more than 1,700 MW.
Today, shares in Aerowatt had eased by 1.05% to EUR 12.29 on Euronext Paris at 1502 CET.
