Aerowatt net loss narrows to EUR 654,400 in H1 2012
Oct 16, 2012 - French solar and wind power company Aerowatt (EPA:ALWAT) reported a net loss of EUR 654,400 (USD 850,032) for the first half of 2012, versus EUR 1.035 million a year earlier.
The earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) jumped 72% year-on-year to EUR 9.296 million, while revenues came in at EUR 14.63 million, up 7%, the company said in a statement today.
The improved results were explained with the increase from the sale of energy by 50% to EUR 14.036 million, the company said.
At end of the first half of 2012, the company's overall installed solar capacity amounted to 21 MWp at 35 plants, while the wind capacity stood at 113 MW at 26 wind farms.
The net debt of the company stood at EUR 153 million at the end of June 2012.
At 0900 CET today the shares in Aerowatt were adding 0.22% to EUR 17.90 on Euronext Paris.
