SOFIA (Bulgaria), December 12 (SeeNews) – Chicago-headquartered Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) announced on Monday it will significantly expand the overall grind and finishing capacity for sweeteners and starches at its corn wet mill in Bulgaria.
“With these expansions, ADM will be well-positioned to meet growing customer demand across the region,” the company said on its website.
The expansion of the capacity is expected to be completed in the first half of 2018.
ADM acquired full ownership of a corn wet mill in Bulgaria in 2015.
ADM currently employs more than 32,000 people and its products are sold in more than 160 countries worldwide. The company produces food ingredients, animal feeds and feed ingredients, biofuels and others.
