Acta nabs EUR-150,000 electrolyser order from Heliocentris

Oct 24, 2012 - Italian clean energy firm Acta SpA (LON:ACTA) today unveiled a blanket order of some EUR 150,000 (USD 194,000) for its HG100 hydrogen generators from German partner Heliocentris Energy Solutions AG (ETR:H2FA).

Delivery, which Acta expects to be able to complete in the first half of 2013, is contingent on market demand for the product throughout Heliocentris' global distribution network for the educational market. The German firm is presenting the hydrogen generator at the Worlddidac exhibition in Basel this week.

The HG100 product has been developed by Acta, based on the company’s EL100 hydrogen generator, for Heliocentris' product range for educational institutions and laboratories.

Heliocentris holds an exclusive license to sell Acta's products to the educational market worldwide. In exchange for that the company has committed to buy alkaline solid membrane electrolyser products exclusively from its Italian partner.
